Covid-19/ Infection Control

In line with current recommendations and the guidelines followed by many hospitals, we are no longer mandating the wearing of a mask for patients without respiratory symptoms who attend our practice.

We encourage you to wear a mask if you are immunocompromised or feel more comfortable. Please feel free to ask your Health Practitioner to also wear a mask.

If you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough, runny nose, sore throat, or fever you must still wear a mask and let our staff know that you are unwell upon arrival or at booking. In this way we can take steps to help us to protect other more vulnerable patients as well as staff. This will also make you feel more comfortable in a separate area rather than in the Waiting Room.

Those who prefer to or are immunocompromised are encouraged to wear a mask. If you prefer your practitioner to wear a mask please let them know.

If you have respiratory symptoms or a close contact does (like cough, runny nose, sore throat, or fever) you must still wear a mask and let our staff know you are unwell when booking, and have a negative Covid-19 RAT before attending.

Telehealth consultations are an option before booking to attend in person if you have respiratory symptoms. This helps to protect other patients and staff.

We strongly encourage and readily provide Covid-19 and influenza vaccinations for all eligible people.
