After Hours Arrangements:
This clinic provides 24 hour care (and home visits) for patients
if required, by using our deputizing service - Melbourne Medical
Locum Service (MMLS) which can be contacted on (03) 9429 5677,
fees are also available by contacting MMLS. For urgent medical
attention we recommended The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Long Consultations
When booking an appointment we recommend that you make a longer
consultation (30 mins) if you are seeing the Doctor regarding
women’s health issues (such as pap smears), if you have
a sports injury/musculoskeletal problem (especially new injuries/problems)
or if you have several ailments to discuss with the doctor.
Availability of doctors by telephone
To ensure quality of care, our doctors prefer to see patients
for a consultation to discuss medical issues.
Fees and Billing Arrangements
All patients are asked to settle their account on the day. The
standard fees are:
Standard Consultation (<15 mins) - $62.00
Long Consultation (15 to 30 mins) - $108.00
Prolonged Consultation (>30 mins) - $156.00
* If you are referred to another Doctor, Specialist
or for investigative tests please ask the Doctor or Reception
staff about fees and other costs that may arise.
Management of Personal Health Information
This practice is committed to maintaining the confidentiality
of your personal health information. Your medical record is a
confidential document. It is policy of this practice to maintain
the security of personal health information at all times and to
ensure that this information is only released with your expressed
written consent. We have a more comprehensive Privacy Act policy
that you are welcome to read upon request.
