Harry graduated in 1973 from Monash University with a Bachelor
of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. In 1980 he was admitted as
a Fellow of the College of General Practitioners. Since 1981 he
has been an examiner for the Victorian Panel of the Royal Australian
College of General Practitioners.
In 1983 he completed the Sports
Medicine training program with the Australian Sports Medicine
Federation. He was the Medical Officer for the Kangaroos Football
Club from 1983 to 2001 and this has enabled him to practise sports
medicine with elite sportsmen at the highest level. In 1996 Harry
was admitted as a fellow of the Australian Sports Medicine Federation.
Harry was selected as an Olympic doctor for the Sydney Olympics
and the doctor for the All-Australian A.F.L. team touring Ireland
in 2000 and 2001. He was recently awarded a fellowship to Sports
Doctors Australia and is currently the Chief Medical Advisor to
the AFL.
